2021-22 Vassar SAAC Award Winner - Women's Rugby
Why Rugby? Wanted to stay in shape and it was a new challenge. She loves tackling.
Plays wing and has been learning how to play scrumhalf.
2021-22: Scored 13 tries during the fall and five tries during the 7s season... Appeared in 10 games and had three matches with two tries... Scored a try in the national chmapionship game against Temple.
2020-21: Season canceled due to COVID-19 ...
2019-20: Started and played in 14 games… scored four tries.Â
2018-19: Made her first A-side appearance at the wing against New Haven (10/21)… Went on to start 6 A-side games after that… Played at scrumhalf in 3 B-side games… Scored five tries for the Brewers.

PRIOR TO VASSAR:Â Played varsity soccer at Emma Willard School...Also competed for the indoor and outdoor track teams...Chose Vassar because the environment and community at Vassar was extremely appealing as well as the rigorous academic opportunities.Â
PERSONAL: Daughter of Stephanie Busby...Cousin, Emma Daniels, attended Vassar and was class of 2014.
