2016-2017
XC: Was a strong force for Vassar once again in her sophomore season...placed in the top three for the Brewers in every race run...ran close to her 2015 personal record in her first 6k of the season, crossing the finish line in 23:38.61 to take the second spot for VC...bested her previous 5k record at the Saratoga invitational as she clocked a 18:48.0 to win a pie prize given to the top 20 runners...earned a then personal record of 23:11.4 for 6k at the Seven Sisters Championships where she was named to the 2016 Second Team All-Seven Sisters squad...ended her season on a high note as she continued to improve upon her 6k time, taking off 40 seconds to run 22:39.8.
Track: Liberty League All Academic Team…had the tenth fastest 5000m time in the entire Liberty League (18:37.29)…started the season finishing fifteenth and with a seasonal best time of 5:18.87 in the 1500m event and finished twenty-eighth in the 800m with a seasonal best time of 2:42.36 at the Ramapo College Track & Field Invitational…finished twelfth at the Liberty League Championships with a time of 19:40.13 in the 5000m event…finished sixteenth at the 2017 Yale Springtime Invitational with a personal collegiate best time of 11:09.74 in the 3000m event…placed fifteenth in the 5000m event with a time of 19:05.84 at the Matthew Vassar Twilight meet…ended the season strong with a seasonal best of 18:37.29 in the 5000m event at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier.
2015-2016
XC: Christiana's debut in the burgundy and gray was a strong one...she began her collegiate career earning third place for the Brewers in the 2015 New Paltz Season Opener on the track, running 11:51 for the 3200m...stayed on it in the next race her new home course of the Vassar Farm to place 3rd for the Brewers and 18th overall in a time of 20:01...stepped it up at Saratoga a week later to break the 19 minute barrier for her first time ever, clocking an 18:54 to place 2nd overall for the VC squad...her strength in the 5k carried over to her first ever 8k at the Purple Valley Classic as she was the 3rd Brewer and 53rd person to cross the finish line in a field of several nationally ranked teams...brought it to a whole new level when her team needed her at the Geneseo Invite to lead her team and take 40 seconds off her PR to help earn a 15th place finish...placed first for Vassar in her next three races run...beat 200 runners to end her season at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships to run an impressive 23:36 on the Genseo course.
Track and Field: Participated in 8 total meets while running in 5 separate events...Finished in 2nd place at the Monmouth Season Opener in the 5000, crossing the finish in 18:29.56...Placed 3rd as a part of the 4x8 squad at the Ramapo College Invitational with a time of 9:45.73...Ran a season best 4:54.72 in the 1500 to place 8th in the Willie Williams Classic...Ended up 3rd in the 4x4 at the Matthew Vassar Twilight meet with a time of 4:34.78.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Earned letters in cross country, indoor and outdoor track for the Admirals of Arlington High School in Lagrangeville, New York...earned All-Section 1 and All-Dutchess County in cross country as a junior and senior...was voted as a All-Section 1 honoree and All-Dutchess County runner her final two years in winter track, while earning the honor during her sophomore, junior and senior years in spring track...helped the AHS cross country track teams to an undefeated league championship career over her tenure...ran personal bests of 19:38 for a 5k, 2:23.6 for an 800 meters and 4:58.24 for the 1500 meters...earned Will Landry All-Academic Award.
PERSONAL: Parents Lisl and Shawn Prater-Lee...has one sibling, Gillian (18)...mother Lisl Prater-Lee is the head swimming and diving coach at Vassar College...both parents competed in intercollegiate athletics at Oberlin College...chose Vassar over Oberlin and Swarthmore...majoring in math.
