2018: Youse was key to the Brewer season success as an unbeatable defender…controlled the game with her dribbling and distributing ability…was part of the defensive corner unit…only allowed seven goals in during the entire season…scored her first-career goal against Christopher Newport…racked up an impressive 1304 minutes.
2017: Liberty League All-Academic Team…was an integral piece to the Brewers defense while starting all 18 games…led the team in minutes with 1255.
2016: Continued her strong start to her career as a sophomore, as she earned action in all 18 games, starting 12 times...was part of a defensive unit that chalked up 11 shutouts on the season...helped Vassar to a 0.72 goals against average, fifth-best in the nation...fired one shot on the season against Union College...helped the Brewers break the school record for consecutive wins with eight.
2015: A promising new addition to the Vassar defense, she started in each of the 14 games she played this season. Played a total of 971 minutes, and remained in the game for the full 70 minutes for 13 games. Her solid skills on defense helped the Brewers earn six shutouts this season.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Earned three varsity letters as a defender for Cedar Cliff High School...earned the Coaches' Choice Award in 2013 and 2014...selected to the Mid-Penn Commonwealth All-Star Team...also competed for the East Coast Field Hockey club team...National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society member...graduated in the top five percent of her class...Medard's Guided Light Warrior Award winner.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jennifer and Michael Youse...has three siblings, Kirsten (23), Jon (17) and Will (16)...chemistry major.
