2019: Limited season, playing and starting one game… Against Finlandia (3/9) recorded one hit for a 1.000 batting percentage.
2018: The junior had a breakout campaign offensively, as Doyle was second on the team in batting average with a .342 clip...started 25 of the 31 games he appeared in, scoring 18 runs while driving in nine...was third on the team with nine multi-hit games...13th in the Liberty League in average...threw out 10 base runners attempting to steal, which was second-most in the conference...was 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored against Lehman on April 22...posted two hits in four at-bats against Old Westbury March 28...was 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run against Williams on the road April 11...was 2-for-4 with two runs scored in a win over Rochester April 18...went 2-for-2 with a double and RBI against Bard College May 6...was 2-for-3 with two runners caught stealing in game one of a doubleheader with Moravian.
2017: The sophomore assumed starting catching duties, and had a solid campaign both offensively and defensively...hit .235 for the season in 31 games, starting 24 times...posted seven runs and four doubles, driving in 10 runs as well...walked 10 times...also saw action as a pitcher in two games, starting against Plymouth State and allowing two runs and three hits over three innings...picked up a save against Manhattanville in a 9-8 win, getting out of a jam with one strikeout while retiring all three batters he faced...finished with five multi-hit games...chalked up three hits in four at-bats against Mount Saint Mary April 19...threw out nine attempted base stealers.
2016: Batted .250 in eight games of action, starting two times... Scored three runs... Drove in one runner... Doubled against West. Conn. St., while going 2-for-4 with an RBI on 4/17.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a four-year letter winner for the Vikings of Seaford High School...was a team captain as a junior and senior...voted All-Conference during his freshman, sophomore and junior campaigns...All-County as a junior...career .375 hitter, posting over 100 hits in his high school career...also a four-year letter winner in soccer...two-season captain on the soccer team...voted as a senior captain for the basketball team...was All-Conference in soccer as a sophomore and senior...Top 25...National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Son of Thomas and Mary Doyle...has three siblings, Sean (28), Paige (25) and Ryan (21)...undecided major...chose Vassar over Muhlenberg and Bates.
