2020 Liberty League All-Academic

2020: Played in all five games, including one start... Notched two goals and two assists for four points... Recorded 11 shots, five on goal... One of his tallies came on the man-up... Notched a goal in the season-opener at Montclair State on Feb. 26... Posted an assist in a 13-8 win over Oneonta on Mar. 7... Had a goal with an assist in an 18-7 victory over Maritime on Mar. 11...

2019: Played in nine games as a reserve player… Scored nine goals… Season-high two goals against RPI (4/10)… Had five groundballs.

2018: Cherry scored 10 goals in 13 games during the 2018 campaign, highlighted by a truly exceptional performance at No. 20 RPI on April 11th where he scored four goals…Cherry scored six goals in the Brewers’ final four games finishing the season with 10 goals, three assists, and 13 points.

2017: Missed the entire season due to injury. 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a three-sport letter winner for the Indians of Manhasset High School...played for one of the premier prep lacrosse programs on the East Coast in Manhassat High School, playing varsity for three seasons in the midfield for the Indians...named as a team captain as a senior...was named to the Nassau County Conference B All-Conference team as a junior, while earning All-County as a senior...picked up US Lacrosse Academic All-American as a senior...helped lead his squad to a county title appearance in 2014, earning the championship as a junior in 2015...earned Long Island Championship accolades during his junior year, while team finished as New York State finalists in 2015...also was a standout on the indoor track and football fields for the Indians...earned the Football Performance and Attitude Award as a senior...was an Indoor Track All-Conference winner in the 300 meters and 4x200 meter relay...earned Exemplars Honor Society...member of National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society...served as the SHS treasurer as a senior...graduated with honors in science, chorus and PE...High Honor Roll.
