2019-20: As a senior, posted 23 foil victories and nine epee wins… Recorded nine wins at the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invite… Went 12-9 at the Drew Tournament, defeating Clemson (3-0), Yeshiva (3-0), and Florida (3-0)… Posted a 5-1 mark against Detroit-Mercy and Cleveland State.

2018-19: Finished the year 11-9 in foil and 7-17 in epee… At the Matt Lampell Invite posted wins against Florida (2-1), RPI (3-0) and Cornell (2-1) in foil.

2017-18: Papsun contributed to the Brewer’s success this season fencing foil, posting a 10-12 record for the year… earned 10 wins in the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invitational, going undefeated in a match against RPI…

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Competed in cross country and fencing for the Indians of North Haven High School...was a team captain for both teams, as well as serving as captain of his ultimate frisbee squad...earned Sportsmanship Award for both fencing and cross country, while picking up Most Improved Award in cross country as a sophomore...earned Best Novice Award for fencing as a freshman...helped lead the epee squad to the CT team championships in 2016...member of National Honor Society, English Honor Society, vice president of Music Honor Society...placed third in Scenario Writing Team Senior Division at the 2015 Future Problem Solving International Conference...WorldStrides Heritage Maestro Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in Jazz Piano (2015)...summer internship for CT congresswoman Rose DeLauro's campaign office. 

PERSONAL: English & Political Science major...chose Vassar "because of the warmth of its community, the quality and breadth of the education it offers, and the opportunity to contribute to its rich history of social progressivism and academic rigor."
