2017-18: Whiteside finished his Vassar career with a 15-7 record his senior season fencing epee… went undefeated in the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invitational with five wins on the day, going 2-0 against Drew… posted 4 wins at the Traditional Multi-Meet…

2014-15: Had a breakout permiere season with the Brewers starting off strong with a 12W-8L showing the season opener, Vassar Inviational Nov. 9...continued posting big numbers at the Matt Lampell Invitational Nov. 16 where he went 12W-3L on the day, going undefeated against Marist...saw a 9W-2L performance at the VC Fencing Challenge Jan. 18 where he went undefeated against Clevelend ST. and NJIT...wrapped up his first season with a 57W-35L winning record...qualified for and competed at the NCAA Regional Championship, where he captured a win in the preliminary round and finished 32nd at the competition.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Epee fencer that brings a "B" rating to Vassar...finished fifth at the USFA New York State Championships held at Vassar in August of 2013...was a Connecticut high school state champion in epee two years...was twice named USFA All-Academic Team...named All-State first-team twice during his time at Ludlowe...was the student council president and math team captain. 

PERSONAL: Son of Stuart and Katharine Whiteside...has two brothers, James (30) and John (16)...majoring in computer science.
