LOW ROUND: 79 at Williams Fall Invitational, Sept. 30, 2018
2019-20: Averaged 88.9 per 18 over five invitationals… Season-low round of 85 at the Williams Fall Classic (10/5-6)… Placed 33
rd at the Ann S. Batchelder Invitational (9/14-15) with a score of 177… Went 176 at the Mount Holyoke Invitational (9/21-22) to tie for 29
th… Tied for 33
rd at the Williams Fall Classic at 171.
2018-19: Averaged an 86.6 per 18 … Shot a season low round of 79 on day two of the Williams Fall Invitational - where she was 37th overall … Her top tournament finish during the regular season came at the Ann S. Batchelder Invitational as she shot a combined 166 for 18th overall … Her other outstanding finish came at the Liberty League Championships, shooting 181 for 18th overall … Had two Top 20 finishes ... Liberty League All-Academic.
2017-18: As a freshman, averaged an 88.1… Had her best round at the Liberty League Championships with an 85, finishing 26
th which was her best finish of the season… Her best two-day total was a 173 which she shot at the St. Lawrence Invitational and George Finney Classic during the fall season.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Played varsity golf for the Jayhawks at Jericho High School...She served as team captain as a junior and senior...During her final season, the team was the undefeated conference champions, the county champions, and the Long Island champions...And as a junior her team was the undefeated conference champion as well as the co-county champion...Individually, she was named All-County in golf three times and received the Coaches Award as a senior...Yi was also a member of the varsity swim team and was named captain for the 2016 season.
PERSONAL: Parents are Miyon and Joseph Yi...Has one sibling Kathryn (14)...Chose Vassar over Hamilton College because of the amazing academic and athletic opportunities.
