2015-16:
XC: Was a strong force in the squad-leading sophomore trio...placed in the top 3 in all but 2 meets ran this season...started off strong to place 2nd for the team and 3rd overall at the New Paltz Season Opener with a time of 9:48 for the 3200m track race...improved upon his 2014 6k PR at the Saratoga Invitational to run 19:53...beat over 400 runners at the 2015 Mike Woods Invitational hosted by Geneseo to run his 8k personal best time of 26:28 to place 2nd for the Brewers...ran well to help the team take a 4th place finish at the Liberty League Championships as he placed 2nd for the squad, clocking a quick 27:07 on the tough St. Lawrence course...beat over 100 runners at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals Championship to help displace runners on the competing teams. 
Track: Started off the season strong at 6th in the 5000M at the Willie Williams Classic...Later improved to a personal best in the 5000M with a 15:16.58 at the Sam Howell Meet...Finished 22nd in the 1500M at the Silfen Invitational...Earned 4th place in the 5000M at the Matthew Vassar Twilight Meet...Came in 3rd in the 10,000M at both the Liberty League Outdoor Track & Field Championships and ECAC Division III Track & Field Championships.

2014-15:
XC:  Ran a 6k personal best of 20:46 at the Saratoga Invitational...placed fourth for Vassar at the James Earley Invitational and 31st overall out of 388, running a personal best time of 26:50.30 to help the Brewers place third as a team...placed first for the Brewers at the Conn College Invitational...placed third for Vassar at the Atlantic Region Championship.
Track: Brown had a solid track season in his first year with the squad, running middle distance and distance for the Brewers...had his best finish as an individual in the 5000 at the Monmouth Season opener, posting a fifth-place placing after running a 15:44.10...posted a career-best time of 15:37.84 in the 5k at the Matthew Vassar Twilight...ran a 4:15.14 in the 1500 meters at Ramapo...helped Vassar's 4x800 meter relay to a win at the Yale Springtime Invitational with a 8:06.91.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Three-sport star for the Trojans of Simsbury High School...was a four-year letter winner and three-year captain for Mike Cohen and the cross country squad...earned All-Central Connecticut Conference in 2011 and 2013...was a New England Championship Team qualifier in 2012 with a personal-best 16:41 in the 5k...State Open qualifier in 2011 and 2012...also a standout on the track for SHS...lettered all four seasons...4x800 relay qualifier in 2013...earned a spot in the 3200 meters in 2011-2014. 

PERSONAL: Parents are Steven '84 and Mindy Brown '83...has two siblings, Adam (23) and Rebecca (12)...planning on majoring in political science...chose Vassar over Bates College, Colby College, Connecticut College and Brandeis University...parents are both alumni.
