2017 Stats

2017: The freshman backstop saw action in 10 games for the Brewers, starting once during his first season at VC...batted .182 in 11 at-bats...posted his first collegiate hit on April 12, singling in a run against CCNY...started game two against St. Lawrence University May 7, going 1-for-2...made all 11 plays that came his way during his first season. 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a standout prep player for the Northstars of St. Charles North...was a letter winner as a junior and senior...helped his team to 32 wins as a junior, capturing the Upstate Eight Conference with a 22-3 record, winning the regional title as well...followed that up with a 33-7 mark as a senior, repeating as Upstate Eight champions...earned the school's first-ever sectional title, played third in the state of Illinois after winning the super-sectional as well...played for Schaumburg Seminoles National Team...IBC Wold Series All-Tournament Team in 2015-16...played for Windy City Prospects of the Metro Collegiate Summer Baseball Team...ranked fifth of 535 students at SCN...Academic High Honors...Illinois State Scholar...National Honor Society member, along with Math National Honor Society (President, Vice President), Spanish National Honor Society (Vice President) and Social Studies National Honor Society...captain of the Chess Team, winning first place in conference in 2015...Math Team member...earned Unsung Hero of St. Charles North in 2013.

PERSONAL: Son of Steven and Sandra Rabin...has two sisters, Sabrina (20) and Sarah (23)...sister Sabrina is a softball star at Northwestern University, earning All-Big Ten honors twice...sister Sarah currently at William & Mary Law School...majoring in biochemistry...chose Vassar over Kenyon College, Kalamazoo College, Carleton College, Lawrence University and the University of Chicago.
