2017: Berg finished his career with a 5.08 ERA as a senior over eight starts, seeing action as a reliever in one game as well...struck out 36 hitters over 39 innings of work...team captain as a senior...posted a 2-5 mark as a senior...had a strong outing against Union College, fanning eight hitters over 7.0 innings of work...went 6.0 innings against Bard College, scattering eight hits while allowing just one run, striking out five...struck out a season-best eight batters on April 9 against RIT...allowed just two runs and fanned seven against RIT in the Liberty League Tournament...finishes his career second all-time in strikeouts per nine innings with 7.90...also third all-time in career strikeouts with 144...his 11 career wins are tied for the fourth most in program history. 

2016: Posted a 1-3 record with a 4.63 ERA over nine starts... Struck out the second most batters with 43... Fanned a season-high eight batters against Clarkson University on 4/11... Pitched the second most innings on the team with 46.2... Pitched a season-high six innings twice this season against Skidmore College on 4/2 and Union College on 5/7... Allowed just one hit over five innings in his first start of the season against Fitchburg State on 3/12... Picked up his first win of the season against Western Connecticut State on 4/17, allowing four earned runs in 17-5 victory.

2015: Was a weekend starter for the Brewers as a sophomore, starting six games and seeing action in seven contests in 2015...posted a 0-2 record with 8.78 ERA...finished fourth on the team in strikeouts with 26...earned his first save of his career on the season's final day, retiring all five batters he faced against CCNY May 3...went a season-long 6.1 innings against Bard April 26, allowing four earned runs while striking out a career-high 10 Raptor hitters...fanned nine RIT batters April 11, allowing two earned runs. 

2014: Came into the program as a freshman and had an immediate impact for the Brewers...was one of the Liberty League's top arms...finished with a 1.95 ERA, going 8-1 in nine appearances...started eight games for the Brewers...tossed 50.2 innings, while striking out 39 hitters...allowed just 35 hits and 11 earned runs over the season...garnered All-Liberty League First Team at pitcher...posted the lowest batting average against in program history, allowing hitters just a .188 clip...broke the school record for wins in a season with eight...second-best ERA ever at Vassar...earned his first collegiate start against Medaille College in Florida, going six innings while striking out seven...picked up a decision in every game he saw action in...tossed a career-high 7.1 innings in the Liberty League Tournament against Clarkson, striking out seven while allowing two earned runs...did not allow three or more earned runs in any appearance all season...gave up just four extra-base hits in 2014...had quality starts in six of his eight starts. 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered two years in baseball at Boston College High School (MA) for head coach Norm Walsh…2013 South Sectional Runner Ups…2012 Catholic Conference Champions…earned Scholar Athlete Award in 2012 and 2013…named to the 2013 Herald Players to Watch list.

PERSONAL: Parents are Robert and Dierdre Berg…has one sister, Ava (20)... majoring in economics...chose Vassar over Amherst, Bates, Fordham, and Middlebury.
