2014-15, 2016-17 Liberty League All-Academic Team
2016-17: came in second in the 50 Breast, setting a personal record (30.18) at the Skidmore Sprint Invitational...came in 18th in the 200 Breast at Liberty League Championships...named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team.
2014-15: Swam a personal best in the 50 free (22.40) in the preliminary round at New York State Championships…swam a season best in the 100 free (52.01) at Liberty League Championships…swam a personal best in the 100 breast (54.81) in the preliminary round at New York State Championships…swam a season best in the 200 fly (2:28.75) against Montclair State...named to Liberty League All-Academic Team.
2013-14: Finished 19th in the 200 breaststroke (2:15.43)…earned two wins in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.50) and the 200 breaststroke (2:26.54) on the way to defeat Skidmore in a dual meet…teamed with A. Walker, C. Cerutti and G. Cristina to win the 200 medley relay (1:43.98) against Skidmore.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered all four years as a Minutemen at Newark Academy...also lettered a year in golf.
PERSONAL: Parents are Francis Lai and Moya Chew-Lai...older sister is Emmie.
