XC: Had a stellar sophomore season for the Brewers...ran in the top seven for VC in all seven meets raced this year...took fifth place for Vassar and 11th place overall to begin the season at the Vassar Season Starter...placed fourth for VC, her highest place on the team this season, at the Ron Stonitsch Invite, clocking 20:07.0, beating her time last year by 16 seconds...ran her personal best in the 5k ar the Saratoga Invite, crossing the line in 18:48.2 to place 6th for VC...ran tough at the Seven Sisters Championship race, taking the last scoring spot to help VC take the win and was named to the All-Seven Sisters Team for this performance...took 35th overall at the Liberty League Championship meet, running a time of 24:23.2 on VC's home course...scored for Vassar at the 2017 NCAA Atlantic Regionals meet, aiding them to tie VC's all-time best finish at the meet (sixth place).
2016-17
XC: Ran six races for the Brewers to start off her freshman campaign...started off on a good foot, taking sixth place overall and third place for VC in her first race in the Burgundy and Gray at the Vassar-New Paltz-Stevens Season Opener...went on to take sixth place for Vassar at the Ron Stonitsch Invite, clocking a 20:23.9 on the tough 5k course...earned her collegiate 5k personal record of 19:31.8 at the 2016 Saratoga Invite...finished her season at the 2016 Atlantic Regional Championship, clocking a 23:11.3, earning her strong personal best in the 6k.
Track: Had the fastest 4x800m relay (9:46.55) on the team this season…had the sixteenth fastest 400m (1:04.35), the fifteenth fastest 800m (2:24.38), the seventeenth fastest 1500m (4:59.44), and the third fastest 4x800m relay (9:46.55) in the entire Liberty League…ran in a total of 14 events this season…finished in first place in the 4x800m relay with a time of 9:46.55 and finished eleventh in the 400m with a personal collegiate best of 1:04.35 at the Ramapo College Track & Field Invitational…earned a personal collegiate best of 4:59.44 in the 1500m event at the Silfen Track & Field Invitational, placing tenth…placed eighth in the 1500m event at the Liberty League Championships…finished first in the 4x400m relay at the Mathew Vassar Twilight meet with a personal collegiate best time of 4:19.10…ended the season with a personal collegiate best of 2:24.38 in the 800m at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a two-year captain for the Panthers of Chatham High School on both the cross country and track squads...was voted team MVP during her freshman, sophomore and junior years for cross country, earning the same honor as a sophomore, junior and senior in track...helped the Panthers to a Patroon Conference Championship in 2014 and 2015, earning a Section 2 Class C title in 2015 as well...ran personal bests of 1:00 in the 400 meters, 2:15 in the 800m and 4:52 in the 1500.
PERSONAL: Parents Chris DeRoller and Mike Clark...has one sister, Kayla (23), who ran track at Smith College...undeclared major.
