2019: As senior, moved to the infield and started 13 games… Recorded 11 hits with 18 runs and six RBI… Tacked on four doubles… Went 3-for-6 in the season opener against FDU-Florham with three runs and two doubles…Stole four bases during the year…Had a .969 fielding percentage with seven double plays.
2018: Moved from the mound to first base as a junior, seeing action in 11 games with two starts...picked up his first collegiate base hit at Whittier College March 20...in his first plate appearance of the season, walked at Caltech March 16...drove in runs against St. Lawrence University (Mar. 31) and at Williams (Apr. 11)...batted .111 for the season, walking three times while making all 21 chances in the field.
2017: Pitched in nine games out of the bullpen for the Brewers, posting a 8.31 ERA for the season...allowed just nine hits over 8.2 innings of work...six of his outings resulted in no runs allowed...tossed two scoreless frames at New Paltz, surrendering just one hit...pitched a scoreless frame at RIT in the Liberty League Tournament...earlier in the season, went 1.2 innings at RIT, getting all five batters he faced.
2016: Posted a 1-0 record with a 4.70 ERA, appearing in 10 games and starting two... Allowed nine runs (eight earned) on 18 hits over 15.1 innings of relief... Caught five runners trying to steal, third most on the team... Tossed 1.2 innings of shutout ball in his first game... Pitched a season-high six innings and allowed just one run on two hits on his way to picking up his first win of the year, an 11-1 win over Mount Saint Mary on 4/27.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Earned three letters as a pitcher and third baseman for the Seahawks of Cold Spring Harbor...also earned a letter on the basketball team...was voted All-Conference as a senior, as he was 3-0 with a 2.15 ERA, 27 K's and only eight earned runs...helped team to Conference B title...was a Scholar Team honoree...played for Long Island Whalers...National Honor Society...World Languages Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Son of Charles and Stacy...has one brother Jake (18)...majoring in STS...father was a collegiate swimmer at Holy Cross...chose Vassar over Babson, Miami and Villanova.
