2016: Liberty League All-Academic Team... Batted .272 with 22 hits over 33 games, 29 starts... Scored 10 times... Knocked in seven runners... Doubles twice... Registered fourth-highest on-base percentage (.368)... Picked off a team-high three runners... Posted the second-most putouts (167)... Caught the most runners trying to steal (14)... Tallied five multi-hit games... Went 2-for-4 with two RBI against Plattsburgh State on 3/13... Drew three walks without recording an official at-bat and scored a run against St. Lawrence University on 3/25... Went 1-for-2 with two runs and a HBP against St. Lawrence University on 3/25... Went 2-for-4 with a run, two RBI and a double against Clarkson University on 4/10... Went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with a run against RIT on 4/23... Enjoyed a four-game streak, registering a hit in each from 4/24 to 5/1.

2015: Had a great season for the Brewers behind the dish, as his bat came alive as a junior...batted .286 on the season, but hit .315 in Liberty League contests...played in 23 games, earning 21 starts...scored eight runs...posted five extra-base hits, including one triple and one homer...had the fourth highest slugging percentage on the team...had a monster game against Southern Vermont, as he drove in four runs including giving Vassar a lead late in that game...posted three knocks in that same contest against Southern Vermont...was 3-for-4 against Clarkson March 19...went 2-for-4 against Bard April 25 in game one...tripled against RPI in a rally that eventually led to a come-from-behind win for the Brewers....pitched a third of an inning against Clarkson, striking out one and allowing no runs. 

2014: Defensive minded catcher that dealt with some nagging injuries all season...saw action in eight games for the Brewers, starting seven times...got the start on opening day against Waynesburg, earning five putouts...started against Amherst March 15, throwing two people out...drove in a run in two at-bats, laying down a sacrifice bunt and adding a sacrifice fly against Skidmore College April 2...walked twice and scored a run against Skidmore April 9. 

2013: Served as a reserve catcher in his first season with the Brewers, as he played in 14 games, getting the starting nod in six games..was four-for-19 on the season, scoring four times and doubling one...collected his first collegiate knock against Oswego State March 18, going one-for-three with a run in that contest...first multi-hit affair came at Stevens, as he was two-for-four with a double and run scored...singled and scored in his only at-bat at RPI April 6.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered three years in baseball at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (NJ) for head coach Kevin James…earned Defensive Player of the Year…lettered two years in soccer for head coach Jon Reynolds.

PERSONAL: Parents are Paul and Jenni Sagnelli…has three siblings, Melissa (36), Montana (28) and Michael (34)...majoring in economics…chose Vassar over Boston College and Georgetown.
