2018: Had another steady and productive season as a senior, transitioning to the everyday third baseman in 2018...finished fifth on the squad in batting average with a .304 clip...saw action in 29 games, earning 27 starts, adding seven doubles and 10 RBI...struck out just nine times over 92 at-bats...scored 15 runs for Vassar...also pitched in two games, allowing hitters to bat .167 off of him while posting a 4.50 ERA...fifth on the squad with seven multi-hit contests...finished his career with a seven-game hit streak...in his final game as a Brewer, went 3-for-4 with with two runs scored in the Liberty League Tournament against RIT May 11...in the season finale, helped VC clinch a conference tournament berth with a 3-for-5 contest against Bard, scoring twice...was 3-for-5 with two doubles, a run, RBI and stolen base against St. Lawrence March 31...posted two hits in four at-bats against Skidmore April 8...was 2-for-4 with a RBI and run scored at Williams April 11...finished his career as a .271 hitter, seeing action in 114 games while starting 107 times...posted 98 hits, 11 doubles and 45 RBI...was 15-for-20 in stolen base attempts...finished in the top 10 at Vassar in assists...in eight games as a pitcher, had a 2.35 ERA over 7.2 innings.Â
2017: Finished his second year as the full-time starter at shortstop for the Brewers...had his most productive season to date for Vassar, hitting .270 in 122 at-bats...chalked up 33 hits with two doubles during his junior campaign...drove in 16 runs, walking 18 times and striking out just 14 times...stole 11-of-14 bases in 2017...was 10th in the conference in total assists with 75...started 34 of the 36 games he played in...had eight multi-hit performances...posted three hits in five at-bats against Mount Saint Mary April 19...followed that with a 3-for-4 game against RPI, driving in two runs...started the season with a six-game hit streak...drove in a season-high three runs with a 2-for-5 outing against Manhattanville May 2.Â
2016: Liberty League All-Academic Team... Batted .227 with 29 hits over 39 starts... Registered two doubles, one homer... Knocked in 16 runners for fifth best on the team... Tallied a team-best five sacrifice bunts... Stole three bases on four attempts for fourth-best... Posted eight multi-hit games... Went 3-for-5 with two runs against UW-Stout on 3/19... Went 2-for-4 with a run, RBI and stolen base versus Skidmore College on 4/1... Went 2-for-4 with a run, an RBI and two doubles against Old Westbury on 4/13... Went 3-for-4 with a run and season-high three RBI against Mount Saint Mary on 4/27... Enjoyed a four-game streak with at least one hit in each from 4/24 to 4/30...led the Liberty League in assists in 2016 with 110.
2015: Very athletic and talented two-way player who should be someone to watch in future years for the Brewers...got into 10 games offensively for the Brewers, hitting .400 over 20 at-bats, singling eight times and scored four runs...drove in three runs as well...saw action on the mound as well, getting into six contest while posting a very strong 1.59 ERA...struck out four batters over 5.2 innings of work, allowing one run and six hits on the season...in his first collegiate game, went 2-for-2 with a RBI against Hope College March 14...was 2-for-2 with three runs scored against John Jay May 2...worked a scoreless inning in his pitching debut against Southern Vermont, striking out a hitter...worked a clean inning against Skidmore April 15.Â
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered two years in baseball under Coach Mark Wade...named to Second Team All League in 2013-2014 season...All Academic Team in 2012- 2013 and 2013-2014 seasons.
PERSONAL: Parents are Greg and Dawn...brother to Bradley (18) and Katie (14)...came to Vassar for the "great opportunity to get an unmatched education while playing baseball"...majoring in economics...chose Vassar over Pepperdine University, Lewis and Clark University, Westmont College and Central Washington University.
