XC: Ran 23:00 for 6k at the Saratoga Invitational...ran a season-best time of 30:18 at the ECAC Championships.
Track: Competed in five events for the Brewers this season, finishing the 1500 and 3000 meter steeplechase races for Vassar...had a solid finish at the Matthew Vassar Twilight Meet, placing third overall in the steeplechase with a time of 11:16.14...placed 13th at the Liberty League Championships in the steeple, running a 11:22.61 in his first career try in the event.
2013-2014:
XC: Showed improvement in his second year for the Brewers, running a 6k personal best of 22:43.69 to open the season at the Ron Stonitsch Invitational...improved in each of his 8k races over the course of the season, ultimately dropping his time down to 30:05 at the Liberty League Championship.
Track: Ran a personal best time of 4:45.90 in the 1500m at the Upstate Classic...nearly matched that time at the Vassar Invitational, where he ran 4:46.30.
2012-13:
XC: Competed in four races for the Brewers as a freshman...posted his first finish at Vassar College at the Vassar Invite, as he ran a 24:16.83 for 81st place...ran a 31:16.43 at the Saratoga Invite...set his personal best in the 8k at the Connecticut College race, as he chalked up a 30:30...finished the season with a 23:52 at Late Season Vassar Invite, running the 6k course as the ninth VC competitor.
Track: Ran in three meets in his first season in outdoor track for Vassar...competed in the 1500 meters...improved his time each meet...started the season with a 4:53.35 at the Liberty League Championships, finishing 19th...posted a personal low in the 1500 meter run at the Matthew Vassar Open, chalking up a 4:49.59.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Attended Birch Wathen Lenox School, where he competed as a member of the Lions...part of the Big Apple District.
PERSONAL: Son of Andrew Dannenberg and Ellen Porges...has a twin sister, Jordan (21), and a younger brother, Cary (17)...majoring in Anthropology...chose Vassar College over Tufts University and Wesleyan College.
