2014-15:
Track: Had one of the best overall seasons for a Brewer men's track athlete ever, earning the Betty Richey Male Outstanding Performer of the Year award at VC...set eight new personal bests on the season, including breaking the school records in the high jump, pole vault, 110 hurdles and decathlon...set his personal best in the 100 meters at the ECAC Championships in the decathlon, as he ran a 11.48 to finish third in the event...placed fourth overall at the ECAC Championships in the decathlon, posting 6021 points...won the javelin at the ECAC meet in the decathlon, as he posted a toss of 50.90 meters...at the Liberty League Championships, Vann won the 110 high hurdles with a 15.74, breaking the school record in the prelims with a 15.51...earlier in the season, Vann broke his personal best in the decathlon, as he posted a school best 6024 points...Vann finished in the top three in all 10 events in that decathlon...also posted a fourth-place finish at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational decathlon, accumulating 5861 points. 

2013-14:
Track: Started off the season in record-breaking fashion at the Willie Williams Classic, setting a school record in the 110m hurdles with a time of 17.30 seconds and jumped a personal-best 6.34m in the Long Jump...tied his own school record in the high jump at the Monmouth Season Opener, matching the mark of 1.80m he set at the same meet the previous year...competed in five events at the Ramapo Invite, helping the 4x100m relay win its heat, running 53.21 in the 400m, clearing 1.70m in the high jump, jumping 5.97m in the long jump, and running the 110m high hurdles as well...threw 50.76m in the javelin at the Upstate Classic, breaking the school record and placing second overall...competed in five events at the Liberty League Championship, including the pole vault, where he vaulted 3.15m to break the school record, and the 100m, where he qualified for the finals...set a personal best in the 110m Hurdles at the Yale Springtime Invitational, clocking 16.57...also at Yale, threw a personal best 51.08m in the javelin and jumped 1.79m in the high jump, placing second overall in both events...shined in his collegiate decathlon debut at the Vassar Twilight Meet, scoring 5960 points to win the decathlon and qualify for ECACs...at the Twilight meet, he recorded personal bests in the 400m (52.05), 1500m (4:44.41), high jump (1.84m), pole vault (3.30m), discus (31.76m), and shot put (10.31m), and also posted a time of 12.26 in the 110m Hurdles, though there was no wind reading on the time...competed in the decathlon at the ECAC Championship, scoring a school record 6,006 points and placing sixth overall...at ECACs, lowered his personal best time in the 400m to 52.00, ran a personal best time of 11.49 in the 100m, improved his personal best in the shot put to 10.52m, and placed first among all decathlon competitors in the javelin throw...finished the season ranked 41st in the nation in the decathlon.

2012-13:
Track: A budding decathlete, showcased his versatility in his freshman season of track, turning in strong performances in seven different events, while also running on multiple relays...season highlights included running on the 4x400m relay at the ECAC Championships...set school records in three events: the high jump, long jump. and javelin throw, recording distances/heights of 1.80m, 5.97m, and 45.45m, respectively...long jumped 6.04m at the Yale Invite, finishing third overall, but the wind reading was just over the legal limit for record-setting purposes.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Fittingly for a decathlete, lettered in three sports at Coventry High, earning three letters in soccer, two in basketball, and four in track and field...named All-Conference in track in 2010, 2011 and 2012...member of the conference-winning 4x400m relay in 2010...set the Coventry school record in the decathlon...honored with the Coach's Award for track his senior year.

PERSONAL: Parents are Leonard and Karen...one older brother, Corey...environmental studies major...chose Vassar over UConn.
