2014-15: Swam a season best in the 50 free (27.11) at the New York State Championships…swam a season personal best in the 100 free (1:10.35) against Trinity College…swam a season best in the 100 back (1:09.53), 100 fly (1:07.31) and 200 IM (2:27.45) at the Seven Sisters Championships…Liberty League All-Academic Team.
2013-14: Teamed with L. Frye, O. Harries and E. Balter for a second place finish in the 200 free relay (1:47.18) just .38 seconds faster than Skidmore’s A team in the Skidmore Sprint Invite…placed seventh in the 50 meter freestyle (31.64) during the CSCAA Bob Mowerson Swim Meet in Florida.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Started four years in Swimming and captained one to coach Joe Schiappa at Hunter College High School...MCHS Swimming MVP all four years...Cross Island YMCA Record Holder in the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Freestyle Relay...Cross Island YMCA National Team in 2012 and 2013...third place in the PSAL 200 Meadly Relay...fourth place in the PSAL 50 Freestyle...ninth place in the 100 Freestyle.
PERSONAL: Parents are Yihang and Connie Pan...Secretary of Amnesty International chapter...chose Vassar because of the "community, possibility to swim, and good financial aid"...chose Vassar over Wesleyan University.
