2016: One of the all-time leading hitters for the Brewers finished up his career by leading VC to its best national ranking in years in 2016...finished third in the conference in total kills with 385, while his 3.38 terminations per set were the fourth most in the UVC and 29th most in the NCAA...led Vassar in total kills for the third straight season, as he finished his career at VC with 1352 terminations...his kill total is third all-time at Vassar College, while his 3381 attack attempts are the most ever in program history...he leads the all-time record for sets played with 426, and also is first in program history with 125 matches played in his career...Kriz finished sixth in the program record books in total blocks with 243, as he posted 68 in his senior season...hit .242 for the season, adding 147 digs as well...posted 32 aces for the year, third most on the team in 2016...finished the year with a team-high 26 games with double digit kills, led by the 21 terminations in a huge win over No. 4 Nazareth College March 5...posted 20 kills against No. 3 Stevens Feb. 10, duplicating the feat March 11 against Hunter College....posted 16 kills and 10 digs in the UVC Semifinal victory over NYU...had four double-doubles on the year.
2015: The junior captain had another fantastic year on the right side, as he finished with a team-leading 266 kills over 92 sets of action...finished his junior campaign seventh all-time in kills with 967 and fifth in attack attempts with 2,473 over his three seasons...his 3.10 kills per set ranks him ninth in VC history, while his 80 service aces are in the top 10 as well...Kriz posted double-digit kills during 11 matches, led by the whopping 25 in a five-set win over Hunter College March 4...finished with a pair of double-doubles, with the first coming against NYU Feb. 15, as Kriz tallied 15 kills and 11 digs...also had a 15 kill, 11 dig outing against Penn State-Behrend March 28...tallied 17 kills, eight digs and a season-high six blocks in a massive five-set victory over MIT...was fourth on the team in digs in 2015...was ninth in the UVC this season in kills per set with 2.71.
2014: Played in all 115 sets, the most in Vassar history, across all 31 matches…started all 31 matches…led the team with 424 kills, the fifth-highest kill total in Vassar history…hit .257…second on the team with 65 blocks…fourth on the team with 130 digs…recorded 30 aces, and seven assists…had 20 kills and seven digs against New Paltz Jan. 29…recorded 22 kills against Ramapo Feb. 1...had a double-double, with 17 kills and a season-high ten digs against Elmira Feb. 9…had 22 kills and hit .432 against Emerson Feb. 15…had 21 kills and eight digs against Thiel Mar. 1…recorded a career-high 28 kills against Penn-State Behrend Mar. 8…had 26 kills and hit .400 against Sacred Heart Mar. 29…contributed 17 kills, and a career-high six blocks against Rutgers-Newark…had double-digit kills in 21 matches…was third in the conference in kills, averaging 3.69 kills per set.
