2013-14: Named co-captain...played all 19 games at No. 1...Ended his last season at Vassar with a 5-14 record...Won his last game of his college career in three games against Siena College...Battled in five four-set games, winning two...Had a three-match winning streak at the Hudson Valley Championship.

2012-13: Spent his junior year abroad.

2011-12: Finished his sophomore season with a 5-10 record, playing mostly at No. 5 singles during the campaign ... went 2-0 at No. 4 and picked up three victories at No. 5 ... earned his first win of the season with a straight set triumph over Nilesh Khaitan of Boston University ... knocked off Calvin Healy of Ithaca College in three games ... earned back-to-back victories over Siena College and Bard College on Nov. 12 ... ended the year with a four-game win over Lirong Liu over the University of Washington.

2010-11: Played in nine matches in his first season as a Brewer ... played all but one match at the No. 9 spot for Vassar ... went 2-6 at the No. 9 flight ... won two of his final three matches of the season ... knocked off Collin Smith of Swarthmore College to pick up his first collegiate victory ... earned a four-set victory over James Hughes of Lehigh University, rallying from being down a set.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Attended Colegio Americano de Quito before coming to Vassar College.

PERSONAL: Parents Felipe Espinosa and Patricia Schettini ... has two siblings ... majoring in economics.
