2015 Stats

2014-15: Team captain that was hugely important to the success of the Vassar men's squash squad...went 5-13 as a senior, finishing his career with an 8-32 record with the Brewers...played the No. 3 to No. 5 positions for Vassar, going 4-7 at the No. 5 spot...went 3-0 at the CSA Championships, helping VC to a H Division title...won nine of the final 10 sets he played at Vassar. 

2013-14: Moved up in his junior year to play at the No. 3, 4, and 5 spots...Battled in tournament play for a 2-2 record...ended the season early to go abroad, posting a 3-9 record...Dropped an exciting match after five sets to Ithaca College's Patrick Phillmore.

2012-13: Had a solid campaign for the Brewers, playing mostly at the No. 8 spot in the lineup ... totaled a 1-12 mark in his second season with Vassar ... picked up a win against Natasha Jones-Sikes of Ithaca College Feb. 22 ... suffered back-to-back five-set heartbreakers in the final two matches of the year.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a two-year starter and letter winner on the soccer team for the Romans of Latin School of Chicago ... helped lead the Romans to a Sectional championship.

PERSONAL: Parents of Daniel and Katherine Kurtzman ... has two brothers, Richard (24) and Robbie (28) ... majoring in economics.
