2015: All-Liberty League First Team...NFHCA All-North Atlantic Region Second Team...dominated the midfield for the Brewers as a Senior Captain...started and played in all 18 of the Brewers contests...one of the best possession players in the Liberty League...able to control ball and possession through heavy traffic in the midfeild for the Brewers...totaled 5 points on three assists and one goal...all three assists came in winning efforts against Manhattanville (9/1), Smith (9/4), and Western Connecticut State (9/16)...scored lone goal of the Brewers 2-1 loss at Union (10/23)...will go down as one of the best players in Vassar Field Hockey history...one of only two Brewers to be named to the All-Liberty League First Team, and the only one to do it twice

2014: Was one of the best midfielders in the Liberty League as a junior...great with the ball on her stick...constantly was seen weaving through defenders en route to the offensive zone...played in 17 games for the Brewers, starting all of them...posted a pair of goals, both game-winners, to go with five assists...was one of the main options to insert on penalty corners....assisted on a goal in both of the first two games...scored her first goal of the season in 2-0 win over Ramapo College, tipping in a shot to put VC up 1-0...two games later scored a gorgeous goal off a long run against Hartwick with under two minutes to play to give VC a 2-1 win, assisting on the other tally that game...assisted on Vassar's first-ever Liberty League Tournament goal against Skidmore College Nov. 5...helped fellow junior Haley Merritt score the game-winner in a 2-0 win over William Smith October 10...should be back as a team leader in 2015 for VC. 

2013: Competed in 17 games as a sophomore, getting the start in 15 contests...had a very solid season, totalling 15 points on five goals and five assists...was second on the squad with five helpers...was fourth on the squad in goals with five...started the season with two goals and an assist against Keystone College Aug. 30...scored in back-to-back games in victories over ranked Skidmore College and St. Lawrence University...scored one of the best goals of the year against New Paltz Oct. 31, flicking the ball over the goalkeeper (VIDEO)...posted an assist on a game-winner against Scranton...was second on the team in shots...inserted on 65 penalty corners this year...put 70 percent of her shots on goal.

2012: Played in 16 games, starting 14...ranked third on the team in points (11)...scored four goals and handed out three assists...scored a goal in her first collegiate game against Hartwick in a 3-1 victory Aug. 31...netted a goal against Manhattanville Sep. 3, taking three shots as well...tallied against Mercy College Sep. 14...posted a goal in a 9-0 win over Morrisville State Sep. 29...handed out her first career assist in her first career start against Bay Path College in a 4-0 win Sep. 7...had an assist in back-to-back games against Elms (Oct. 3) and Kean (Oct. 6)...scored on her first career shot.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered four years in varsity field hockey at Leominster High School…named captain her senior season…nominated to the Massachusetts Best of 60 Competition and All Star League her senior year…was a member of the National Honor Society throughout high school…lettered three years in softball.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Domenic and Diedra Zarrella...Siblings Dominique (20), Zachary (17), Giavanna (14)...sister plays field hockey at Tufts University...works for the Vassar College Athletic Communications Office.
