XC: Saved her best cross country season for her senior career as she led the Brewers as their top runner in four races...she began her season on a high note, placing not only first for the Brewers, but first overall, at the SUNY New Paltz Season Opener with a time of 11:42 for 3200m...ran 19:41 at the Ron Stonitsch Invitational to place 10th, beating 100 runners in the process...placed 11th overall at the competetive Saratoga Invitational clocking a personal best of 18:30...took 37th place at the Purple Valley Invitational in one of the most competitive DIII races of the season with a quick time of 23:42 on this hilly course...placed 21 overall at the Liberty League Championships running against three national qualifying teams...finished her season well at the NCAA DIII Atlantic Region Championships, placing second for the squad, running an all time personal best of 23:29.
2014-15:
Track: Struggled win nagging injuries for much of the season, though had bright spots early in the year...shined at the Ramapo Roadrunner Invitational, finishing second in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a personal-best time of 11:43.29...posted a personal-best of 4:58.63 in the 1500 meters at the Silfen Invitational, finishing ninth.
XC: Made her season debut at the James Earley Invitational, running a personal best 5k time of 19:40...placed fifth for Vassar at the Liberty League Championships with a 6k time of 23:50...competed for Vassar at the Regional Championship.
2013-14:
XC: Began the season strong but dealt with injuries late in the year for the Brewers...competed in five races as a sophomore, but missed the last three including the Liberty League Championships and NCAA Regionals...opened the year with a bang at the Marist Invite Aug. 31, crossing the finish line as the top Vassar runner with a 21:13.58 for the eighth overall spot...followed that up with a 16th place finish at the Vassar Invite a week later, running a 19:57 as the fourth-fastest Brewer runner that day...ran a personal-best for a 6k at the 2013 Geneseo Pre-Regional Invitational, crossing the finish line in 23:43.9 for 56th place out of 268 runners.
Track: Competed in the 5000m at the Monmouth Season Opener, finishing with a time of 19:17.75...ran 5:06.44 in her first 1500m of the year at the Ramapo Invite...set her personal best in the Upstate Track Classic in the 1500m, clocking a 5:01.26 for sixth place...finished fifth in the 1500m at the Liberty League Championships with a 5:03.73...posted a 18:55.80 in the Matthew Vassar Twilight, finishing seventh.
2012-13:
XC: Had a very strong freshman season for the Brewers...was consistently in the top 10 for Vassar...competed in her first collegiate race at the Vassar Invitational Sep. 8, as she crossed the finish line in 21:17.94, placing 37th overall and eighth among Brewers...took to her first 6k course at Vassar, as she finished the Rochester Pre-Regional Sep. 15 with a time of 24:50.6...registered her personal-best at the Saratoga Invite Oct. 6, running a 19:08.40 over 5k to finish 43rd overall out of 172 and as the sixth-best VC performer...broke 20 minutes again in the 5k a week later at the Seven Sisters meet, running a 19:52...posted a 24:22 in the Liberty League Championships, breaking her previous 6k best by 35 seconds while crossing the line as the fourth-best VC finisher.
Track: Contributed as a middle distance and long distance runner on the track...ran in seven different meets as a freshman...placed ninth in the Upstate Track and Field Classic 1500, running a 5:05.97...ran two events at the Liberty League Outdoor Track Championships, placing fifth in the 1500 with a personal-low of 5:05.10, also running in the 800 and booking a time of 2:31.85...competed in the 3000 for the first time as a Brewer at the Yale Springtime Invitational, crossing the line in 10:48.13...finished fifth at the Matthew Vassar Open in the 5000, running an 18:53.59...established a new personal best in the 800 at the Oneonta State May Meet, running a 2:28.57 for 10th place...ran with the 4x800 relay team at the ECAC D-III Outdoor Championships.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered all four years in both cross country and track and field for head coach Chad Young and the Barons of Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School...was ninth in the state of Maryland in cross country in 2011...helped her squad to a MD state championship in 2012...was named Washington Post All-Met First Team in indoor track in 2011-12...was second at states in indoor track in the 1600 meters...third-best time in the state in outdoor track in the 3200 meters...named US Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award in 2010...Wellesley Book Award winner in 2011.
PERSONAL: Daughter of John and Antonia Farrell...has one sister, Lily...planning on majoring in biology...applied to only Vassar.
