2013-14:
XC: Missed the first couple of races for the Brewers but returned to the top of the lineup, where she shined in her final season as a Brewer...one of the best cross country runners ever for Vassar...ran in six races for Vassar in 2013...led VC in all six of those competitions...started her season at the Ramapo Roadrunner Invite, finished third overall with a time of 24:08.6...earned a pecan pie at the RPI Invitational, placing eighth overall with a time of 18:10.7...was fantastic at the 2013 Geneseo Pre-Regional race, finishing second overall out of 268 runners, registering a then personal-best 22:17.1...led the Brewers to a team title at the Seven Sisters Invitational, placing second with an 18:52.9...earned All-Liberty League honors at the League Championships, finishing fourth with a personal-record of 22:02...rounded out her brilliant career with Vassar with a 22:23.9 at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals, placing 28th overall and earning All-Region honors.
Track: Finished her amazing career with one of the best seasons ever for a Vassar distance runner...earned All-American for the first time in her career, battling back in the NCAA Championships from 10th place to finish 5th and in All-American position...had an extraordinary start to her senior year, winning the 1500m at the Monmouth Season Opener in an ECAC-qualifying, nationally-ranked time of 4:42.81, blowing away the final with a 66-second final lap...earned league and ECAC Performer of the Week honors for her race...broke her own school record in the 5000m at the Princeton Sam Howell Invitational, running a US #2 time of 17:01.83 and placing fifth overall in an elite field...was electric in the Liberty League Championships, winning the 1500 meters with a time of 4:46.05...went to the Penn Relays and ran a then-school record of 16:45.39, placing second overall against many Division I, II and III runners and some professional runners as well...earned an easy victory in the 800 meters at the Matthew Vassar Invite, recording a 2:17.28...finished second at the ECAC Championships in the 1500 meters, running a 4:41.60...finished her season by becoming the second-ever All-American in track program history, finishing fifth overall at the NCAA Championships in the 5000 meters, running a program-low 16:41.93.Â
2012-13:
XC: Started the season at the Rochester Pre-Regional meet, shining in the performance by pacing the Brewers with a 22:36.7 time over the 6k course, finishing 21st out of 360 runners...finished fourth overall at the Saratoga Invitational, running a personal-best 18:01.28 on the 5k course...led the Vassar runners and finished second out of 94 competitors at the Seven Sisters Invitational...earned All-Liberty League honors after finishing 12th at League Championships with a time of 23:03...finished tenth out of 277 runners at the 2012 NCAA Atlantic Regionals, running a 22:20.5 to earn All-Region honors and qualify for the national championship...competed at the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, IN, passing 32 runners in the second half of the race to finish 92nd overall.
2011-12:
XC: Finished second of 121 at Vassar Invite Season Opener... ran 18:22 for three miles at the RPI Invitational... finished 10th of 217 (first for Vassar) at the St. Lawrence Pre-Regional Meet with a personal best 6k time of 22:51... ran 20:30 to finish 24th of 102 at the Seven Sisters Championship... placed 61st of 256 at NCAA Atlantic Regionals...finished first for the Brewers on three different occassions.
Track: Had another huge season for the Brewer track squad...posted wins in three different races...started the track season with an eighth-place finish at the Monmouth Season Opener, running a 4:51.03 in the 1500 meters...finished fourth overall at the Army Dick Shea Open, running the 1500 meters in 4:53.23...earned her first win of the spring at the Vassar April Invite, running the 3000 meters in 10:25.77...finished second at the Liberty League Championships in the 1500 meters, running a 4:49.35...followed that up with a 4:44.09, her personal best, in the 1500 meters at the Yale Springtime Invitational...earned a win in the 5000 meters in the Matthew Vassar Open, running the trek in 17:31.52...went back-to-back in the 5000, as she won the ECAC Division III Outdoor Track title in the event with a 17:10.29, her personal best...ran at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, finishing 16th in the nation in the 5000 with a 17:45.11.
2010-11:
XC: Was one of the best freshman in the conference, helping lead the Brewers...never finished lower than third for the Brewers...started her career with a third-place finish in the Vassar Invitational, running a 19:52 for 5k...finished third of 311 at James Early Invitational with a personal best 5k time of 18:53… at the Liberty League Championship, finished seventh of 67, third for VC… finished 21st of 236, third for VC at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Meet with a time of 23:01, earning recognition as a member of the All-Region team.
Track: Made her collegiate track debut at the Willie Williams Classic, running the 5000 meters in a time of 19:13.73...finished seventh in the 5000 meters at the Monmouth Season Opener, running a 18:25.27...clocked a 5:01.01 in the 1500 meters at the Ramapo Roadrunner Invite, placing fifth...helped Vassar to a third-place finish in the 4x1500 relay at the New Jersey Invitational...finished second in the 5000 meters at the Liberty League Championships, running a 18:27.91...posted personal best time of 17:37 in the 5000m at the Princeton Larry Ellis Friday Night Races.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered three years in cross country, three years indoor track, and four years in outdoor track at Franklin High School for head coach Paul Trovato… captained all three teams as a senior… won the Hockomock League indoor track 1000-meter run as a junior.
PERSONAL: Parents are Patty and Craig Piepmeier...has one brother...majoring in political science and religion...studied abroad in Belfast, Northern Ireland in the spring of 2013.
