CAREER (as of 2/5): In two seasons, played in 44 games with seven starts… tallied 67 points (1.5 ppg), 45 rebounds, 17 assists, and 10 steals… shot 22-of-65 (.338) from the field, 10-of-29 (.345) from three-point range, and 13-of-15 (.867) from the charity stripe… scored a career high six points (2-of-2 3FG) against Brandeis (11/29/09) and against Ramapo (1/8/10) on 2-of-3 from beyond the arc… grabbed a career high five rebounds against Marywood (12/1/10)… dished a career high three assists against Hamilton (1/22/11).

AS A SENIOR IN 2010-11 (as of 2/5): Named captain… averaged 10.4 minutes per game with 19 appearances and five starts… shot 6-of-7 (.857) from the free throw line… recorded first career block against RPI (1/18/11).

AS A JUNIOR IN 2009-10: Joined the team as a walk-on… saw action in all 25 games with two starts… averaged 8.9 minutes per game… shot 8-of-20 (.400) from three-point range and 7-of-8 (.875) from the line… registered first career point and assist against Brandeis (11/29/09)… recorded first career steal and rebound against Richard Stockton (11/21/09).

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered three years in basketball at Brattleboro Union High School for coach Joe Rivers… helped team reach the Vermont Division I Final Four played at University of Vermont’s Patrick Gymnasium as his junior and senior year… named co-captain as a senior… a three-sport athlete, also competed in soccer and baseball in high school… lettered three years in soccer for coach Paul Sather and was named co-captain as a senior.

PERSONAL: Parents are KD Maynard and Jim Maland… born July 5, 1989… sister Emily played softball at Carleton College… majoring in English with a correlate in Spanish… when not in season, works in Vassar’s Sports Information Office.
