2021-22: Appeared in three matches for the Brewers this season ... Posted a 1-2 overall record ... Earned a 3-0 win during a victory against Chatham in the Epps Cup Consolation Semifinals at the CSA Team Nationals (2/26) ...
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Earned a total of 11 varsity letters as a three-sport star for the Jesters of Emma Willard School...was a four-year letter winner for the field hockey team, earning captain honors as a senior...named Second Team League All-Star as a first-year player...named All-State, along with First Team League All-Star and League and Patroon Conference MVP as a junior...repeated on the All-State squad as a senior, earning First Team All-Patroon Conference accolades as well...voted team MVP as a sophomore...helped her squad to Patroon League titles all four seasons, while also finishing as quarterfinalists in Section 2 her final three seasons...also was a four-year letter winner for the basketball squad, also competing in triple jump for three years...captain of her basketball squad as a senior...competed for the ADK Field Hockey Club.Â
PERSONAL: Member of the Vassar Field Hockey team ... Daughter of Andrea and Rick Zahnleuter...has two sisters, Mary Beth and Molly...sister Mary Beth, Class of 2020 is a standout for the Skidmore College field hockey team...mother Andrea played field hockey at Bates College...chose Vassar "because of the incredible opportunities that are available for me. I can play field hockey and continue to challenge myself in my academics, all while being surrounded by friendly and unique people."
