Lindsey Shoulders (Glen Allen, VA) has been honored with her fourth Liberty League Rookie of the Week award of the season it was announced Monday afternoon.
Shoulders had a productive three-game run against a trio of NESCAC opponents last week for the Brewers. Shoulders averaged 11.7 points and 5.7 rebounds for Vassar, to go along with two assists, a pair of steals and a blocked shot.
Shoulders opened the week with 12 points, three rebounds and a steal at #6/6 Bowdoin in the first game of the 2025 Coastal Classic hosted by the Polar Bears. Shoulders closed out the tournament with a double-double, scoring 14 points and securing 10 rebounds the following day against Tufts. To round out the week, Shoulders posted nine points, four rebounds, an assist and a steal at Hamilton on Saturday.
Through nine games for Vassar to date, Shoulders leads the team with 7.9 rebounds per game and is second on the team in scoring with 12.8 points per outing. Among the conference leaders, Shoulders ranks second in field goal percentage (.461), fourth in total rebounding, first in offensive rebounds per game and ninth in scoring average.
At 3-6 overall and 2-0 in conference play, Vassar continues its conference slate on Friday when it plays host to Clarkson.
