Troy, NY – Vassar College First Year forward Ava Holman (St. Louis, MO) has been named the Liberty League Offensive Player of the Week it was announced Monday afternoon. Monday's honor follows up a Rookie of the Week citation last week for Holman.
 
In Vassar's only game of the week, a 3-2 victory over #T-13 Scranton, Holman scored twice for the Brewers. Holman gave Vassar a 2-0 lead late in the first half and with just over eight minutes left in regulation time, Holman scored her first career game winning goal.
 
Through three games in 2025, Holman is tied for the team lead in overall goals (3) and game winning goals (1). Among the league leaders, Holman is tied for third in overall goals.
 
At 3-0 overall on the season, Vassar returns to action on Wednesday evening when it travels to Danbury, CT for a non-conference matchup with Western Connecticut.
