Troy, NY - The Liberty League announced its weekly award winners for the week ending September 21 as Vassar College Women's Cross Country first year Cate Feudtner was named the league's Rookie of the Week. 

Feudtner earned the individual title at the Fred Pavlich Invitational at Bard on Saturday as she crossed the finish line in 24:41.2, defeating the next closest finisher by 17 seconds, to help lead the Brewers to a first place team finish. This marks the second consecutive week that Vassar has earned a weekly award in women's cross country.

Vassar is off until Friday, October 3 when the Brewers will head to the prestigious Paul Short Run at Lehigh.
