Troy, NY - Vassar College Women's Volleyball junior Maura McAusland has been named the Liberty League Performer of the Week as it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Vassar opened the season with two sweeps of SUNY Geneseo and Utica on Saturday at the Red Dragon Invitational as McAusland led the way with 31 kills, 17 digs and two aces while hitting .481. McAusland buried 17 kills and hit .600 along with seven digs in the sweep of the Knights followed by 14 kills (.379) and 10 digs in the win over the Pioneers.

Vassar sits at 2-0 overall for the first time since 2015 as the Brewers will travel to Smith College to play in three matches at the Bonnie May Invitational, beginning with a matchup with the Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening.
