Troy, NY – Vassar College First Year forward Ava Holman (St. Louis, MO) has been named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week in Women's Soccer it was announced Tuesday afternoon.
 
Holman helped lead Vassar to a 2-0 week to begin play in the 2025 season with the Brewers topping Sarah Lawrence 2-0 and Mount Saint Mary College 4-0.
 
Holman scored her first career goal on Sunday against the Knights and finished the weekend with a total of six shots and four shots on goal, unleashing three shots and two shots on frame in each contest for Vassar.
 
At 2-0 on the season, Vassar returns home to take on #T-13 University of Scranton on September 6.
