Troy, NY – Vassar College First Year forward/midfielder Isaac Taegar (Metuchen, NJ) has been tabbed the initial Liberty League Rookie of the Week in Men's Soccer it was announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon.
 
Taegar helped lead Vassar to a pair of wins on opening weekend, producing three points as the Brewers topped Western Connecticut 5-2 and NYU 3-2.
 
Taegar began his collegiate career in strong fashion on Friday against the Wolves, scoring his first career goal before adding an assist on what proved to be the game winning goal against the Wolves.
 
At 2-0 on the season, Vassar is off until traveling to Cortland on Saturday afternoon.
