Men's Cross Country Earns Runner-Up Finish as Miller Takes First Place Finish at Vassar Season Starter

Junior cruises to first place finish in opening 4K race of the season

Poughkeepsie, NY - The Vassar College Men's Cross Country team earned a runner-up finish, just behind nationally-ranked NYU, as junior Sean Miller raced to a first place overall finish out of 56 finishers with a new career-best 4K time of 12:15.9 at the Vassar Season Starter.

VASSAR'S FINISHERS

Miller used a strong start to propel himself to a first place overall finish with a new personal-best time in the 4K opening race with a mark of 12:15.9.
Junior Max Frazee scored a runner-up finish with a time of 12:25.2 followed by first year Jay Borland tallying a fifth place finish in 12:47.4 in his collegiate debut.
Senior Arlo Rucker crossed the finish line in 12th position with a mark of 13:06.9 along with first year Jack Brilliant earning a 15th place finish in a time of 13:10.0 in his first collegiate race.
First year Lincoln Neiswender recorded a 17th place finish in 13:15.6 and classmate Riley Magill finished 19th overall with a time of 13:18.9 in their college debuts.
First year Maslen L'Esperance posted a 21st place mark with a time of 13:23.5 to begin his college career followed by fellow first year Grey Fearon in 28th place in 13:47.5.
Sophomore Oscar Olson Gross and classmate Zeke DeMercurio scored top-40 finishes with Olson Gross finishing in 14:17.4 and DeMecurio posting a time of 14:17.5.
Senior Mikhail Medina closed out the Vassar finishers with a top-45 finish with a time of 14:41.3.
