Mahwah, NJ - The Vassar College Men's Track and Field team completed the outdoor season opener at the Ramapo Invite on Saturday as senior Jose Magana finished first in the 1500 meters along with senior Adam Finnimore and junior Jacob Sellitti setting personal-best marks.

Hammer Throw

• Finnimore recorded a new personal-best with a toss of 30.63 meters to record a top-20 finish.

Discus Throw

• Finnimore closed the day with a 21st place finish with a mark of 31.55 meters.

Long Jump

• First year Owen Gifford finished 20th overall with a leap of 5.93 meters.
• Senior Jae Young Seo scored a top-25 finish with a distance of 5.64 meters.

High Jump

• Sophomore Collin France finished ninth overall with a height of 1.74 meters.
• Senior Max Bergman also recorded a top leap of 1.74 meters.

1500 Meters

• Magana took the first place finish with a time of 4:01.79, outpacing the next finisher by almost six seconds.
• Senior Tim Buchan finished fifth overall with a time of 4:12.41 along with first year Patrick Wang finishing 22nd with a time of 4:31.20.
• Senior Nick Redstone scored a top-35 finish in 4:36.69.

110 Meter Hurdles

• Young Seo scored a 14th place finish with a time of 17.39 followed by Bergman in 16th in 17.70.

100 Meters

• First year Ryan Fernandes finished 23rd with a time of 11.70 in the seeded prelims.
• Junior Jacob Sellitti posted a personal-best time of 11.71 for an 11th place mark in the unseeded race.
• Gifford was 23rd overall in the unseeded race in 12.02.

400 Meters

• First year Nick MacDonald recorded a fourth place finish with a time of 51.03 along with junior Xavier Silverio posting a time of 58.85.

200 Meters

• Sellitti raced to a 36th place finish with a time of 24.31.

4x400 Relay

• The 4x400 relay squad crossed the finish line in fifth place with a time of 3:31.50.
