Kansas City, MO – Vassar College junior
Gianna Panarelli (Jensen Beach, FL) added another honor to her 2025 resume on Thursday with a Third Team All-American citation from the United Soccer Coaches. Thursday's honor marks the program's first ever All-American award from the United Soccer Coaches.
Panarelli adds Thursday's honor to a 2025 list that includes First Team All-Liberty League and United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region III honors. Although the first All-American nod from the United Soccer Coaches, it marks the First All-American honor since a Second Team honor from D3Soccer.com for Jessica Young in 2022.
Panarelli had a standout year for the Brewers who won their first Liberty League title in program history. Panarelli, the only Brewer to start all 20 games in 2025, ranked second on the team with nine goals, 21 points and four game winning goals.
Panarelli scored multiple goals in a game twice in 2025 and tallied in five of the Brewers' final eight games of the season. Panarelli's ninth goal of the campaign came just 20 seconds into overtime in a 1-0 Liberty League Championship Semifinal victory over Ithaca.
Among the conference leaders, Panarelli finished the year third in the Liberty League in total points and tied for third in both total goals and game winning goals.
Vassar finished the 2025 season with a program record 16 victories, its first ever Liberty League title and the program's second straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
