Troy, NY – Vassar College First Year Lindsey Shoulders (Glen Allen, PA) has been named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week in Women's Basketball for the second straight week it was announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
 
Shoulders, who recorded career-highs in points and rebounds against Misericordia on November 22, followed that up with nine points and nine rebounds, including six offensive boards, in a narrow 72-68 loss at Mount Saint Mary on November 29. Shoulders finished the contest 4-for-10 from the floor and with two assists and a pair of steals.
 
Through three games in her collegiate career, Shoulders currently ranks third in the Liberty League with 9.7 rebounds per game and leads the conference with 6.0 offensive caroms per outing.
 
At 1-2 overall on the season, Vassar travels to Trinity (CT) on Wednesday for a non-conference clash with the Bantams.
