Poughkeepsie, NY - The Vassar College Field Hockey team learned its NCAA First Round opponent on Sunday evening as the Brewers will open the 2025 NCAA Tournament against #17 Williams on Wednesday evening with a time to be determined.
Vassar is coming off its first Liberty League championship since 2021 where the Brewers defeated Union 4-2 at home. The Brewers will enter the NCAA Championship at 13-6 overall on the season.
Williams enters the national tournament at 8-8 overall and 6-4 in the highly competitive NESCACÂ after falling in the quarterfinal round of the NESCAC Tournament to Wesleyan.
