Poughkeepsie, NY – The Vassar College Men's Swimming and Diving team was in action for the first time in 2025 Monday afternoon, dropping a hard fought 165-121 non-conference decision to visiting Trinity (CT). Sophomore

Monday's defeat drops Vassar to 1-5 overall on the season in dual meet competition.
For The Brewers
- Song continued a strong rookie season for the Brewers with victories in the 200-yard backstroke (1:58.95) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:04.67). Song also earned a third-place finish for Vassar in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.19).
- Jauregui scored victories on Monday for Vassar in the 100-yard backstroke (53.55) and the 100-yard butterfly (54.78).
- First Year Eli House (Oneonta, NY) had a strong meet for Vassar, winning the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.25) and adding a runner-up finish in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:19.46).
- Senior Hayden Ehrenfeld (Long Beach, CA) swam a strong time of 21.85 in the 50-yard freestyle and later picked up a third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (50.61).
- Logan Seiss (Downingtown, PA) swam to a runner-up finish in the 200-yard butterfly (2:05.50) and added third-place showings in both the 500-yard freestyle (5:16.01) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:09.33).
- John Gao earned second-place points on Monday in the 100-yard backstroke (55.70) and later touched out third in the 100-yard butterfly (55.71).
- Daniel Furman (Secaucus, NJ) posted a third-place finish for Vassar in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:15.06).
- First Years Noah Rich (Dover, NH) and Mike Seaton (Hoboken, NJ) each turned in third-place finishes with Rich posting a time of 2:26.93 in the 200-yard breaststroke and Seaton showing a time of 22.91 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle.
- Both of Vassar's relay teams had strong outings on Monday with the 200-yard medley squad of Jauregui, Gao, Seaton and Ehrenfeld winning the first event of the meet in a time of 1:36.50.
- The same quartet finished the day with a second-place time of 3:18.24 in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

- Vassar travels to Division II Pace on Friday for a 6:00 p.m. contest with the Setters.
