Bauermeister, Balon Topped In Quarterfinals Of ITA Northeast Regional Doubles Draw

Duo went 2-1 over three matches

Madison, NJ – After winning two matches on Friday, junior Fernando Bauermeister (Winter Park, FL) and sophomore James Balon (Winnetka, IL) of the Vassar Men's Tennis team were topped in the quarterfinal round of the ITA Northeast Regional Championship doubles draw on Saturday.

Doubles

The Vassar pair advanced to the third round of the doubles draw, taking on Aiden Drover-Mattinen and Andy Zhu from RPI.
The RPI pair topped Bauermeister and Zhang 8-3.
Bauermeister and Balon closed out the championship 2-1 for the Brewers.

What's Next

The ITA Northeast Regional Championship was the final competition of the fall season for Vassar.
