Haverford, PA – The Vassar College Men's Tennis team opened play on Saturday at the Haverford/Swarthmore Invitational with a dual match with the host Fords. Three Brewers won singles matches in the contest.
 
Doubles

• Vassar competed in four hard fought doubles decisions on Friday.
• Arnav Agostinho (Brooklyn, NY) and First Year Joaquin Gil (Brooklyn, NY) were outlasted 8-7 (5).
• Ethan Mantell (Hermosa Beach, CA) and James Balon (Winnetka, IL) dropped a tough 8-7 (7) decision.

 
Singles

• Vassar came away victorious in three singles matches on Friday.
• Henry Zhang (Zhengzhou, China) battled to a 7-5, 6-8 (8), 10-8 victory for the Brewers.
• Mantell picked up a 6-2, 6-4 win for the Brewers.
• Gil scored a 6-4, 0-6, 11-9 triumph for Vassar against the Fords.
