Poughkeepsie, NY – The #40 Vassar College Women's Tennis team battled to its 12
th straight win with a hard fought 5-4 victory over #35 Skidmore Sunday afternoon. First Year 
Maddie Kirby (Davidson, NC) clinched the victory for the Brewers with a win at fifth singles.
 
In a battle of the last two unbeaten teams in Liberty League play, Vassar improves to 14-3 overall on the season and 7-0 against league rivals, while Skidmore slips to 8-5 overall and 5-1 in conference play.
 
Doubles  
	- The Brewers rallied for the win on Sunday after dropping two of the three doubles matches.
- The third pair of Ananya Krishnan (Chesterbrook, PA) and Elyse Duley (Charlotte, NC) continued their standout play this spring with an 8-7 (7-3) victory. The win was the unit's 11th straight victory and improved them to 14-2 on the season.
Singles 
	- Kirby clinched the win for Vassar on Sunday with her fifth straight singles victory. A hard fought 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 fifth singles win against Skidmore pushed her singles record to 12-5 on the season.
- Macey Dowd (Orinda, CA) improved to 13-4 on the season following a 7-5, 6-3 win on Sunday.
- Krishnan outlasted her opponent at the fourth position by scores of 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, winning for the 11th straight outing and improving to 14-2 on the season.
- Duley won a 6-3, 7-5 decision at the sixth slot on Sunday and moved to 11-4 on the season for the Brewers.
 
What's Next 
	- Vassar closes out the regular season on April 27 when it travels to RPI.
- Skidmore plays host to Union on April 26.
