POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - The Vassar College Men's Basketball team will open the 2024-25 campaign on Friday evening as the Brewers will head to the Gettysburg Tip-Off Tournament and take on Ohio Northern at 6:00 p.m. Vassar finished the 2024-25 season with a 10-15 overall record and a 8-10 mark in Liberty League play.

A Look At The Roster

• Vassar returns its top four leading scorers from a season ago as sophomore Shea Fitzgerald led the Brewers in points per game with 14.6 and was named an All-Liberty League Honorable Mention. Fitzgerald also finished as the team leader in steals, three-pointers made, field goals made and was second in assists.
• Sophomore Avery Lee also returns as he averaged 10.4 points per game for second on the squad along with senior Luke Adams adding 8.5 points per night and finished with a team-high 62 assists.
• Junior JP Miranda returns after averaging 7.1 points per contest along with junior Nathan Denham who led the squad in rebounds per game with 4.6.
• Sophomore Sebastian Medina led the squad in blocks with 20 on the season and ranked third on the team in assists with 50.
• Seniors Alex Walters and Devyn Benson, junior Sacha Greenberg and sophomores Kreekor Karageuzian, Eric Zhang, Kale Elmhorst, Collin France and Noah Mann all return from a season ago.
• The Brewers add one first year to the roster this season as first year Will Gregory will look to contribute right away for Vassar.

The Schedule

• Following the opening weekend at Gettysburg, Vassar will head to Sarah Lawrence on November 16th before playing its first home game of the season in the Hudson Valley Classic against New Paltz on November 22.
• The Brewers will take on Mount Saint Mary in the second day of the HV Classic before opening Liberty League play in December with road games against Ithaca, Hobart and Skidmore.
• Following the New Year, Vassar will play in the Middlebury Invitational on January 3-4 and then return to conference play at the North Country against St. Lawrence and Clarkson on January 10-11.
• Vassar will then play seven straight home contest in the month of January as they will host RPI, RIT, Skidmore, Union, Bard, Clarkson and St. Lawrence from January 17-February 1.
• The Brewers will hit the road in the month of February for return conference matchups against Bard, Union, RIT and RPI from February 7-15.
• The regular season will conclude with home contests against Hobart and Ithaca on February 21-22.
• The Liberty League Championship will begin with first round matchups on February 25 followed by the semifinals on February 28 and the final on March 2.

The Mee File

• Head Coach Ryan Mee enters his sixth season (seventh year, no season in 2020-21 due to COVID-19) in 2024-25 as he has led Vassar to three Liberty League Championship appearances.
• Mee led the Brewers to its first ever Liberty League Championship in 2021-22 and advanced to the NCAA First Round against WPI.
