TROY, N.Y. - The Liberty League announced its weekly honors in men's cross country on Monday afternoon and freshman Davis Anderson (Simsbury, CT) was named the Rookie of the Week for the first time this season.

Anderson achieved his best finish of the season as he ran to a ninth place finish at the Ronald C. Hoffman Invitational hosted by St. Lawrence. He finished in a time of 26:59.2 and was Vassar's second scorer on the day. He helped the Brewers to a second place team finish as Vassar has finished in second or higher in its three meets on the season.

The Brewers return to action on Friday when they head to Lehigh University for the Paul Short Invitational.
