SCHENECTADY, NY – Powered by goals from 15 different scorers, the Union College men's lacrosse team posted a 22-4 victory over Vassar College in the Liberty League regular season finale for both teams. The fourth-ranked Dutchmen are now 14-1 overall and 6-1 in league action, while the Brewers conclude their 2022 campaign with a 7-7 mark, going 2-5 in the Liberty League.
Union opened the game's scoring with a 6-0 run in the opening quarter, but the Brewers answered in the second frame as senior midfielder
Logan Hyde recorded his 21st of the season to make it a 7-1 score at 13:03. The Dutchmen answered with six straight goals, but Vassar countered with 1:54 to play as junior midfielder

Peter Burnes had three goals with three helpers, while Peter Kip, Matt Belluche and Jake Titus each had two goals. Sam Byrne went 14-of-19 in the faceoff circle with 11 ground balls, while Matthew Paolatto was 7-of-10 from the circle with six ground balls. In goal, Dan Donahue earned the win with one save over 30 minutes, while Reed Karaska came on in relief, making eight stops.
