McPartlon had three of the six goals for the visitors, while Heiting chipped in a goal and three assists, and senior Isabel Bush and sophomore Drew Charlton also found the net.
The Dutchwomen maintained a four-goal lead with 9:49 left but Vassar scored the final three goals of the first half, two off the stick of sophomore

Most of the second half saw neither team lead by more than one goal, as every possession seemed to take on greater importance. Vassar took its last lead of the game with 8:35 left, when
Caeli Porette scored to give the Brewers a 16-15 advantage, but Union closed the game with four unanswered tallies to secure the victory.
McPartlon knotted the score at 16 with 7:28 left, before Gerrato put Union ahead for good by scoring a man-down goal with 3:53 on the clock. With Vassar looking to tie the score, senior Caroline Hirt forced a turnover that eventually led to McPartlon's sixth of the game from Heiting that helped to seal the victory with less than 90 seconds remaining.
First-year Hannah Dubinsky earned her first collegiate victory for Union by making four saves in 37:32 of relief work, while rookie
Lauren Johns shouldered the tough loss, stopping 12 shots.
Vassar returns to action next Friday when it hosts Ithaca on Senior Day at Weinberg Turf. Action is set to begin at 4pm. Union plays on Tuesday, when the Dutchwomen make up their Liberty League game with Skidmore College beginning at 6 p.m. in Saratoga Springs.
