POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – After playing a physical game against St. Lawrence on Friday night, the Vassar men's soccer team picked up their second straight win on Saturday afternoon. The Brewers defeated Clarkson 3-1 on senior day to move to 7-6-1 overall and 4-2 in the conference. Meanwhile, the Golden Knights suffer their first Liberty League loss and drop to 8-4-2 overall and 4-1-2 in the league.
The Brewers got on the board midway through the first half after a throw in at the 23
rd minute. Junior
Hawkins Barratt Heitmann (Cutchogue, NY) headed the ball in front of the net. Senior

Eric Wnorowski (Mantoloking, NJ). Kilmek fired the shot down the middle, but Wnorowski grabbed it immediately to hold the lead.
The Brewers scored again at the 61
st minute mark when freshman
Ryan Lane (Santa Monica, CA) ran to the right side of the field and launched the open attempt from 20-yards out into the left back corner of net. Vassar continued to build its lead two minutes later when
Andrew Goldsmith (Princeton, NJ) shot from the outside right corner. Freshman
Quinn Tunnell (Hershey, PA) was waiting on the left post and helped the ball find its way home and put the Brewers up 3-0.
Clarkson managed to prevent a shutout after a free kick attempt at 83:37. The Golden Knights' Bobby Guilfoil lined up at the top middle of the box and slipped the shot into the right corner of net.
Wnorowski picks up his third win of the season and made a season-high five saves. Clarkson goalkeeper Ian Roeloffs recorded five saves as well. In addition to Olsson, senior
