TROY, NY (April 14, 2018) – The Vassar men's tennis team fell at league foe RPI on Saturday, 7-2.
The Brewers got their two points in doubles action as the No. 1 duo of
Adam Krueger and
Jeremy Auh and the No. 2 team of
David Gandham and
Jamie Anderson both earned points. In the top spot, they grabbed an 8-6 win while the No. 2 team won 8-5.
In singles action, both Auh and
Dom Demeterfi pushed their matches to three sets before falling. Auh at No. 3, won his first set (6-4) before dropping the second and third (2-6, 2-6). In the fifth spot, Demeterfi won the second set of his match 6-3, and pushed the third to extras before dropping 8-10.
Next Saturday, the Brewers head to St. Lawrence for an 11:00 a.m. match with the Saints.
