Last Time Out: The Vassar women's basketball team earned a win against RPI, 55-50, on their Senior Day. With the win, the team improves to 11-5 in the conference and clinches a spot in the playoffs for the first time since the 2013-14 season. Sophie Nick was strong for the hosts all night, as the sophomore posted a game-high 22 points while also grabbing nine boards and shooting 8-of-13 from the floor. Ariella Rosenthal recorded a double-double pouring in 10 points and pulling down 10 boards.  Maeve Sussman had a balanced night with 11 points, six rebounds and four assists. Samarah Cook added five points and two steals for Vassar.

A Look at the Brewers (16-7, 11-5 Liberty League):

• After a 2-1 week, the Brewers are in fourth place in the Liberty League behind a three-way tie for first place between RIT, Ithaca, and Skidmore.
• Sophomore Sophie Nick is sixth in the conference in scoring at 13.3 points per game and fourth in the conference in field goal percentage with a .466 field goal percentage.
• Vassar's offense sits fourth in the league, averaging 62.8 points per game.
• Vassar leads the Liberty League in 3-point shooting with a 0.335 shooting percentage.
• Nick and Ariella Rosenthal are seventh and eighth in the league, respectively, in rebounding, averaging 6.9 and 6.8 per game.
• Nick leads the league in free-throw percentage, converting at a 0.843 clip.
• Three Brewers average at least 2.0 assists per game in Samarah Cook (2.1), Rosenthal (2.3), and Kim Romanoff (2.4).
• The Brewers have outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 points per game.

• The Herons are tied for sixth in the Liberty League with RPI after a win over Bard College.

A Look at the Bombers (17-6, 12-4 Liberty League):

• The Bombers are coming off a four-game winning streak to earn a spot in the three-way tie for first place in the Liberty League.
• Cassidy O'Malley is fourth in the Liberty League in scoring, averaging 17.6 points per game.
• Julia Yacovoni is second in the league in scoring with 8.1 rebounds per game.
• O'Malley is second in the league in field goal percentage with a .479 clip.
• The Bomber's offense is second in the Liberty League, posting an average of 70.4 points per game.
• Ithaca leads the league in steals with 13.39 steals per game.
• Three Bombers average at least 2.0 assists per game in Erin Woop (2.9), Annie Giannone (2.8), and Yacovoni (2.2).

 
 
Against Ithaca All-Time: The Brewers are 0-3 against Ithaca all-time. Earlier this season, the Bombers bested Vassar 69-53 at home in Poughkeepsie on December 1.
