POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Vassar (17-1, 7-0 Liberty) reached the Liberty League Championship game for the first-time ever following their 4-0 win over RPI on Wednesday evening. The Brewers now face a challenging Yellowjackets (18-1, 6-1 Liberty) team in the finals.

Action begins at 1 p.m. at Vassar College's Weinberg Field. These teams last met on Oct. 19, where the Brewers pull off the exciting 3-2 home victory. Against RPI,
Cristina Lopez (Timonium, MD) tallied a goal and assist.
Grace Amell (West Hartford, CT) and
Emily Poehlein (Northampton, MA) also scored in the win. Defense limited the Engineers to four total shots.

Rochester has won four straight, including a 2-1 victory over Skidmore in the semifinals. Nancy Bansbach picked up her 19
th goal of the season and currently leads the league with 43 points. As a team, the Yellowjackets average 3.32 goals per game, while limiting opposing teams to .53 goals a game. Kate Kujawa has started all 19 games in net and has recorded 10 shutouts with 51 saves.
